Get into Volunteering

Reasons to Volunteer

Grassroots football wouldn’t exist without volunteers - From secretaries and coaches, to line markers and tea makers, local clubs need volunteers to keep running.

There are loads of benefits to volunteering, including:

Building your CV
Making new friends from all walks of life
Working as a team towards a goal
Providing more opportunities in the local community
Personal development

For Sarah
The FA and County FA volunteering roles
Some roles can be carried out with as little as an hour a week, so there’s definitely a role out there for you!
The only roles where there is a requirement for qualifications are where there is constant contact with youth players (Under 18 and below), such as coach, manager, physio and welfare officer. A Criminal Record Check (CRC) will need to be completed prior to working with Under 18s.
