Referees perform a vital role in the game, and with the growth of the game on the Island there is an ever increasing demand for new referees.

There are a number of opportunities to referee on the island with junior football, small sided, adult male and female 11v11, Masters League and Disability Football. All of which require referees to officiate their matches.

The first stage involved in becoming a referee is to register with the Isle of Man FA and the second stage is to attend a Basic Referees Course.
