Referee Safeguarding

Welcome to the ISLE OF MAN FA Referee Safeguarding page.

Here you will find all of the important documents that you may require in order to comply with FA Safeguarding Policies, alongside The Isle of Man County FA's Referee Safeguarding Policy where we offer our support and guidance to you as match officials.

Please select the relevant document that you require and follow the instructions below.

Instructions for completing a DBS Application

This document is to be used if it has been communicated that you need to complete a DBS application (formerly CRC). Please follow the instructions in the document carefully as it contains all of the information that you require. Once you have completed the application, please contact a member of the team in order to verify your selected documents. If you have any issues, please contact the Isle of Man FA office.

All referees need to have completed safeguarding training. If you have already completed the Safeguarding Children qualification, e.g. for junior coaching, then this is sufficient. If not, please follow this link to the Safeguarding for All course. You'll need to login to England Football Learning using your FAN number. If you have any issues, please get in touch with the office.
