Lewis Qualtrough is IOMFA Interim Chief Executive Officer

The Isle of Man FA is delighted to announce Lewis Qualtrough, our Football Development Manager, as new Interim Chief Executive Officer.

Lewis has held roles within the Isle of Man FA as our Community Coach, Assistant Football Development Officer and Football Development Officer before becoming our Football Development Manager. He also oversees our talent pathway in his role as Isle of Man FA Academy Manager, which includes managing our boys under 18’s Isle of Man representative team.

Lewis has supported the development of grassroots football on the Isle of Man for players, volunteers and clubs for a number of years. We are looking forward to working with Lewis in this role and wish him every success.

Kevan Maitland will remain in post as our Chief Operating Officer until he retires in June 2024.

Regarding his new role, Lewis said: “I’m very happy and proud to be given the opportunity to lead the Isle of Man FA.

“We are really fortunate to have so many passionate volunteers within our clubs, leagues, committees and our referee workforce all helping players enjoy the game here on the Island.

“We are also blessed to have such dedicated staff and board members at the Isle of Man FA, going above and beyond every season.

“Along with the team, I’m looking forward to continuing to support and improve football for everyone here on the Island”.

Lewis’ role as Interim CEO started on October 2nd 2023.
