Corinthians' Women's team rounded off a successful season last night with a 7-2 victory over Douglas Royal in the final of the Canada Life FA Cup.
Two goals in the first 13 minutes from Chloe Teare put the whites ahead, before Royals struck back through Caitlyn Smith's own brace to bring the sides level. However, it wasn't long until Casey Halsall hit two of her own to take the score to 4-2 to Corinthians, then Kiera Morgan and Holly Stephen added their names to the scoresheet, and Halsall completed her hatrick. Halsall was named Player of the Match.
Corinthians are also the Canada Life Women's League and Floodlit Cup winners this season, making it a clean sweep for them.
