IOMFA U15 Boys' successful trip to Wales

The Jacksons IOMFA Boys U15’s travelled to Wales to play two friendlies against two Welsh Cymru Premier League academy teams at the weekend.

On Saturday, the squad along with their coach Mark Watterson, went to Oswestry on the Welsh border for an evening kick off against The New Saints FC at Park Hall Stadium.
The Isle of Man earned a hard fought 2-2 draw in a very competitive game, with goals coming from Chester Bell (Corinthians AFC) and Ethan Hawley (Laxey AFC).

The following day the side visited Connah’s Quay Nomads FC and won 4-3 in a close encounter (3 goals from Peel’s Freddie O’Donoghue and 1 from Laxey’s Brandon Krypner).
Well done lads! Impressive results!

The Isle of Man FA would like to thank the travelling parents who supported the boys, and Jacksons IOM for driving youth football forward on the Island.
