Winning weekend for COE U12 girls

Matches played at Morecambe and Altrincham

The Isle of Man Centre of Excellence Girls U12’s travelled to play Morecambe FC and Altrincham FC Girls at the weekend, accompanied by their coaches Ric Delaney, John Coppell and Kirsty Williams. 

On Saturday morning the girls played Morecambe FC, with the squad split into two nine-a-side teams. Both games were played in a competitive spirit with the CoE girls coming out on top in both fixtures.

The girls were then guests at the Altrincham FC v Dagenham & Redbridge National League match, which was a great experience topped off by meeting Altrincham goalkeeper, Tony Thompson.

On Sunday the team travelled to play Altrincham FC Girls. Again, the squad split into two teams and showed togetherness and great quality throughout.
