Summer game time for women and girls
As we gear up for the Women's Euro Championships being held in England in July, the Isle of Man FA is giving women and girls more ways to play this summer.
Following the huge success of Girls Football at this year's Sporting Club Manx Youth Games, registrations are open for a month of summer fun development games for U8s, U10s, U12s and U14s. The matches will be played every Saturday at The Bowl for a month, starting on 18th June.
U8 and U10s: 10.00 – 11.00am
U12 and U14s: 11.00 –12pm
If you'd like to register your daughter, please email Simon.elson@isleofmanfa.com with the following information: daughters name; school year; which MYG session she attended; current club (if any). Places are limited.
Meanwhile, the Women's Summer League is scheduled to kick off on Sunday 10th July at The Bowl. The ideal mix would be experienced players alongside some who are new to, or returning to, the sport (minimum of three)
Perhaps your employers would sponsor a team from your business? Or maybe your netball/hockey/running team fancy a new challenge in the off season?
There will be plenty of spaces in other teams if you'd like to join in - email Simon.elson@isleofmanfa.com to register.

Clubs are also encouraged to run try it out 'taster' sessions over the summer, to encourage new players to get involved. If you'd like more information, please contact Simon.
