The Jackson's sponsored Isle of Man's U18 boys squad travelled to north-west England last weekend.

On Saturday they took on Tranmere Rovers' U18 team at the club's first team training ground in Wallasey. The IOM players were leading 3-1 in the first half but Tranmere proved too strong in the second half. Scorers in this match included Tom Brown (Peel), Luca Moretta (Rushen) and Josh Kennaugh (Onchan).

On Sunday, the squad bounced back with a win against Fleetwood Town International Academy U19s at Poolfoot on the Fylde Coast. The scorers in this match included Kyle Watson (Douglas Royal), Christo Loizides (Rushen), Tyler Hughes (Union Mills) and Tom Brown (Peel). 

Coach Lewis Qualtrough was extremely pleased by the players' resilience and attitude, in some very windy conditions. Well done lads!
