Club officials offered free mental health training
First aid certification
All local clubs have been offered free places on the Mental Health First Aid (Adult) courses being run by Manx Minds.
Women's Development Officer, Simon Elson (pictured here with Kevan Maitland) completed his training earlier this year and is now a qualified Mental Heath First Aider. The training covers how to identify, understand and help someone who may be experiencing a mental health issue and signpost professional help.
There are two courses this year, the first of which starts this Saturday (24th July) and continues on Saturday 31st July (9-5).
The second course is Monday evenings 27th September 2021, 4th October 2021, 11th October 2021 & 18th October 2021 (6-10pm).
