Isle of Man Referees

Dates released for new referee course

If you’re ready to put your whistle where your mouth is, the Isle of Man Referees Society is holding a two-part course in September and October, aimed at equipping new referees with the key skills and knowledge they will need to be able to referee grassroots football matches safely and effectively. It is for people aged 14 and over who want to referee mini soccer, 9 v 9 and/or 11 v 11 football.

The first session will take place on Thursday 30th September, 6 to 8pm and the second will run on Saturday 2nd October, 9.30am to 3pm. Both will be held at IOM FA HQ Boardroom at The Bowl.

The course is being delivered by Tommy Crowe and Peter Greenhill. For more information, please contact Tommy: tcrowe@bhwprintgroup.com

Once you have booked a place on the course, you will be sent a link to set-up a FAN number (if you don’t already have one) which will become your log in. Prior to the start of learning you will receive a link to answer some online referee assessments so we can establish your knowledge of the Laws of the Game.
