NEW KIT FOR ISLE OF MAN WOMEN’S SENIOR FOOTBALL TEAM

Nedbank Private Wealth has presented the Isle of Man Football Association women’s team with new playing kit and tracksuits for the start of the new season. This is the second year that the company has sponsored women’s football and marks its continued association with the sport on the Island.

Simon Elson, the newly appointed Women and Girl’s Development Officer for the Isle of Man Football Association, said: “On behalf of the Isle of Man Football Association, I would like to express our sincere thanks to Nedbank Private Wealth for its ongoing sponsorship of women’s football. In recent years, the sport has really developed on the Island and the support provided by Nedbank Private Wealth will allow this progression to continue. The sponsorship will enable us to promote the Nedbank Private Wealth Women’s League and the Nedbank Private Wealth Floodlit Cup. It also means the women’s senior representative team can now start planning ahead for the Inter Island Games to be held in Ynys Mon in 2019.“

Women’s Island captain Kym Hicklin commented: “Speaking on behalf of the women’s senior representative team, we are really grateful for the generosity and support that Nedbank Private Wealth has provided. This sponsorship means that women’s football will continue to prosper on the Island and we can now look forward with optimism to Ynys Mon 2019.”

Stuart Wilkins, a director at Nedbank Private Wealth, went down to the ground to present the squad with their new kit. He said: “We are delighted to support the growth and development of women’s and girls’ football on the Island.  It is great to see the work the Association is doing to encourage so many people of all ages to get involved in the game. We wish them every success for the coming season.”
