With the FA’s plans to Double Participation by 2020, Isle of Man Football Association are working alongside the junior league to develop a competitive girls league on the island and looking to expand the number of clubs offering girls only teams to allow for the growth within the girls only game…

Manx Youth Games 2018


Manx Youth Games (MYG) provides a safe, fun and enjoyable environment for girls to play football many for the first time…


Training begin for Manx Youth Games week commencing Monday 22nd January 2018

Manx Youth Games - Saturday 5th May 2018


Session will run weekly in the 4 regions of the Island (North, South, East and West)


Offering Girls Only Football sessions for ages;

  • Primary School Year 4-6
  • Secondary School Year 7-9

During MYG 2017, girl’s football attracted over 60 players throughout the training sessions from January to May.



SSE Wildcats Football Clubs

The Football Association and SSE have teamed up to launch a new initiative in 2017, SSE Wildcats, designed to inspire girls aged between 5-11 to be involved in the sport

During Wildcats 2017, girl football attracted over 50 players during the 16 week program.


Microgamming Community Games


‘’Throw away any negative of bad experience about sport and exercise - this is aimed for 12 - 17 yr olds to be more active and realising it can be fun.’’


Program ran by Sports Development Unit and supported by the Isle of Man FA to deliver Girls Football.
