Level 4 Match Observer accreditation

Crowe and Greenhill achieve standard

Congratulations to two well-known names within the IOM referee community – Tommy Crowe and Peter Greenhill – who have both recently achieved Level 4 Match Observer accreditation.

Referee Observers are the guardian of standards and provide a quality assurance service towards referee promotion, development and retention. First and foremost the role of the observer is to help referees improve and become better as all-round match officials.

The accreditation means Tommy and Peter can observe officials appointed to matches at Step 5 and 6 in the English Football Pyramid System. This includes the league that FC Isle of Man plays in and, in fact, Tommy observed the match referee – Jacob Viera - who’d travelled over from north-west England, at Monday’s fixture vs New Mills
