Return to football gets the green light

Lockdown restrictions to be lifted on Monday

Subject to current lockdown restrictions being lifted from Monday 19th April 2021, the Isle of Man FA can confirm the suspension of fixtures and training across indoor and outdoor youth and adult grassroots football will be lifted at one minute past midnight on Monday.
Senior teams from clubs who would like to play competitive league games from Saturday 24th April have been asked to confirm this by the end of today (Friday 16th April). For clubs who require a week’s training prior to the start of fixtures, the league programme will begin on Tuesday 27th April 2021 (Canada Life Premier League & JCK Limited Division Two) and Wednesday 28th April 2021 (Canada Life Combination One & JCK Limited Combination Two).
Once we have established if any clubs would like matches on the 24th April we will release the fixtures as soon as possible thereafter.
*It is extremely important that clubs, players, coaches, match officials, league officials, volunteers, carers and facility providers continue to practise good hygiene. Sneeze and cough into a tissue or the crook of your elbow and regularly disinfect shared surfaces. Wash your hands with soap and warm water or hand sanitiser thoroughly for the recommended 20 seconds.*
A reminder also to clubs responsible for changing facilities, with COVID-19 pausing football, water will have been sitting in pipes for some time and it will heighten the risk of Legionnaires disease, please run taps, showers etc as soon as possible to help reduce the risk.
