Football remains suspended

Clubs asked to vote on season extension option

Although Isle of Man FA fixtures and club training across all indoor and outdoor youth and adult grassroots football on the island is still suspended, we hope a return to football is not too far away.

The aim is still to complete all leagues by the 31st May 2021. Clearly this will result in most clubs playing twice a week once a return to football date has been approved by the Isle of Man Government. A number of cup competitions could be held after the completion of the league programmes if time permits.

Unlike 2019/20, this season The FA has granted permission for all county FAs to extend their seasons until 30th June 2021 should they wish to do so. In normal circumstances a Special General Meeting would be called for all clubs to vote on this issue, but in the current situation, it will be done via email.

Clubs have been asked to submit their vote by 5pm Wednesday 14th April 2021.
