Who is the course for?
- Managers and coaches of club/school teams aged 7-16 years of age.
- Prospective candidates for the L2CCF
- Club managers/coaches working towards achieving Charter Standard.
- Minimum age: 16 years.
Course Objectives
On completion of the course candidates should be able to;
- Promote and establish working relationships and high standards of behaviour with players, coaches, parents and officials in the overall development of football
- Achieve an awareness of related aspects regarding children’s football including:
• Child Protection
• Laws of the Game
• Long Term Player Development
• Club Administration
• Display Competence in Emergency Aid
• Introduce youngsters under 11 years of age to Mini Soccer and promote its benefits for this age group
• Organise and supervise 24 fun football game-like activities including Mini Soccer, small-sided games and conditioned games
Obtain an awareness of further training opportunities for football coaching, medical and referee awards
